LIGHT COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION 

 
 
Please read these warranty terms and conditions carefully before using your Med-Fit Systems, Inc. (Med-Fit) 
product. By using the product, you are consenting to be bound by the following warranty terms and 
conditions. 
 
LIMITED WARRANTY: 

 

Med-Fit warrants all new Nautilus® Commercial products to be free from defects in materials and 
manufacture for the warranty periods set forth below. The warranty periods commence on the invoice date of 
the original purchase. This warranty applies only against defects discovered within the warranty period and 
extends only to the original purchaser of the product. Parts repaired or replaced under the terms of this 
warranty will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period only. To claim under this warranty, 
the buyer must notify Med-Fit, or your authorized Med-Fit dealer, within 30 days after the date of discovery of 
any nonconformity and make the affected product available for inspection by Med-Fit, or its service 
representative. Med-Fit’s obligations under this warranty are limited as set forth below. 
 
 
WARRANTY PERIODS AND COVERAGE: 

 

Light Commercial Cardiovascular Products manufactured and sold after February 19, 2010. 

Frame parts:  10 years 
Mechanical parts and welded components:    2 years 
Electrical:  2 years 
Wear parts:    1 year (Includes all parts that come in contact with the hands or feet) 
Labor:    1 year (United States and Canada only) 
 
 
CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS: 

 

This warranty is valid only in accordance with the conditions set forth below. 

 

A.  The warranty applies to the Nautilus® Light Institution product only while: 

 

1.  It remains in the possession of the original purchaser and proof of purchase is demonstrated, 
2.  It has not been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, improper service, or non-Med-Fit modification, 

and 

3.  Claims are made within the warranty period. 

 
B.  Certain products are warranted for non-standard commercial use only. Non-standard use is defined as 

use in non-fee paying clubs or facilities, and less than 6 hours daily use. Unapproved use voids the 
warranty. Non-standard use products do not include F3, P3, P4, S3, S4, S5 and S6 series strength 
products, and E9, U9, R9 and T9 series cardiovascular products.

 

 
C.  This warranty does not cover damage or product failure caused by electrical wiring not in compliance with 

electrical codes or Med-Fit Owner’s Manual specifications, or failure to provide reasonable and 
necessary maintenance as outlined in the Owner’s Manual. Nautilus® Light Commercial cardiovascular 
product is guaranteed against structural frame defects for 10 years.
