3.  Install the Leverage Arm 

 

NOTE:

    Two  people  are  required  to  install  the 

leverage  arm;  one  to  hold  the  leverage  arm  in 
position, and one to install the leverage arm shaft. 

 

Slide  the  leverage  arm  shaft  (35)  through  the 
support  bearing  in  the  center  frame  (5)  until 
the  shaft  extends  midway  between  the  center 
frame  and  the  support  bearing  in  the  weight 
stack frame (1). Slide the leverage arm (2) onto 
the leverage arm shaft. 

 

Slide  the  leverage  arm  shaft  (35)  back  toward 
the weight stack frame, and install the following 
items on the shaft, one at a time: 

 

Leverage Arm Spacer (43) 

 

Flywheel Stop Arm (3) 

 

Leverage Arm Spacer (43) 

 

Range-of-Motion Flywheel (4) 

 

Continue to slide the leverage arm shaft (35) 
into the support bearing in the weight stack 
frame (1). 

 

Secure the leverage arm shaft (35) to the center frame (5) and weight stack frame (1) using one screw (59), end cap (13), 
screw (58), spring washer (73), washer (71) and end cap (46). Tighten the screws securely. 

 

Slide the leverage arm counterweight (38) onto the leverage arm (2) and secure in place using two screws (62) and spring 
washers (74). Tighten the screws securely. 

 

Pull out on the leverage arm pull pin to retract the locking pin, and hold in the retracted position. Rotate the leverage 
arm up, then release the locking pin. Continue rotating the leverage arm until the locking pin engages a drilled hole in 
the range-of-motion flywheel ratchet. 

 

4.  Assemble the Weight Stack 

 

Slide one weight stack support (40) onto each 
weight stack guide post (26). 

 

Insert  the  weight  stack  guide  posts  (26)  into 
the  retaining  holes  in  the  base  of  the  weight 
stack  frame  (1).  BE  SURE  the  drilled  ends  of 
the  weight  stack  guide  posts  face  upwards, 
toward the top of the weight stack frame. 

 

WARNING:

    TO  PREVENT  INJURY,  IN-

STALL THE WEIGHTS ONE AT A TIME. 

 

Install  weights  (50,  51,  52)  on  the  weight 
stack  guide  posts  (26), one  at  a  time,  in  the 
following sequence: 

 

Weight, 10lb (51) - eight required 

 

Weight, 5lb (50) - three required 

 

Slide the looped end of the lanyard on the selector 
pin (24) onto the shaft of the top plate (29). 

 

NOTE:

   

BE  SURE  to  hold  the  lanyard  in 

place when installing the top plate.

 

 

Install  the  top  plate  (29)  on  the  weight  stack 
guide  posts  (26),  inserting  the  top  plate  shaft 
through the holes in the weights. Insert the selector pin (24) through one weight until it engages the top plate shaft. 

 

Install one rubber cap (25) onto each weight stack guide post (26). 

 

Lift up on one weight stack guide post (26) until the rubber cap (25) contacts the underside of the weight stack frame cross 
member. Secure the post to the weight stack with one screw (58) and washer (71). Repeat for the remaining guide post.
