Mounting the transmitter
To mount the VS1 transmitter in a cabinet, perform the following tasks:
1. Locate the six transmitter mounting pieces that were included in the VS1 shipping box (see
Figure 2.1
).
2. Disassemble the slide assembly into two pieces by pressing the release button and separating
the two pieces. One piece fastens to the cabinet mounting brackets; the other mounts to the
side of the transmitter (see
Figure 2.1
).
3. Assemble the section of the slide that will be installed in the cabinet. Use four sets of M4
hardware [10 mm screw (Nautel # HMSP20), flat washer (Nautel # HMW03), split washer
(HMW33) and nut (HMN03)] to fasten each slide assembly to the two cabinet mounting
brackets. Install the screw head on the slide assembly side and add the washers and nut on
the cabinet mounting bracket side (
DO NOT
use any hardware under the screw head).
Leave the securing hardware slightly loose to allow depth adjustments later.

Note:
Unless otherwise specified, all hardware required in this section is included in the
VS1’s installation kit (Nautel Part # 211-8979).
