Email Configuration
The
Email Configuration
page (see Figure 2.54 ) allows you to configure email parameters (e.g.,
server name and port number).

Procedure to configure emails:
1. Open the
User Settings
page by pressing
Menu > User Settings
in the
Home
page.
2. Select the
Email Configuration
option (left-side of the screen) to display related information
and associated parameters in the center of the screen.
3. Enter the following parameters:
•
Email Server
- The email server name depends on your network setup variables (see
"Setting up the network", on page 2-72 ). If your network is set to Static IP , then enter
your outgoing mail server’s IP address. If your network is set to DHCP , then enter your
outgoing mail server’s IP address or DNS.
• Port Number - Enter the information that will identify the senders and receivers of
messages. Typically, this is set to 25 for SNMP systems.
