Adding a user
You must be an Administrator to use this function.
Procedure to add a user (see Figure 2.51 on page 2-67 ):
1. Open the
User Accounts
page.
2. Press
Add
(bottom of the screen) to open a small window.
3. Beside Username , enter a name that identifes the new user, and press
OK
.
4. Select the new user to edit the settings.
5. Beside User Type , press the arrow to reveal a drop-down menu and select a type of user. If
you select Custom as the type of user, then go to the Permission section of the screen and
mark individual permissions (see "Changing permissions", on page 2-69 ).
6. Press
Apply
to confirm your entries and create a new user or press
Cancel
to ignore your
entries and exit the small window without creating a new user.User
Changing the password
Any user can change their own password. You must be an Administrator to change another user’s
password.
Procedure to change a password (see Figure 2.51 on page 2-67 ):
1. Open the
User Accounts
page.
2. Select a user from the “List of Users”.
3. Press
Change Password
(bottom of the screen) to open a small window.
4. Beside Old Password , enter the existing password.
5. Beside New Password , enter a new password.
6. Beside Confirm Password , retype the new password.
7. Press
Apply
to replace the old password with the new one and exit this menu.
