Selecting the DCC mode
The NX300 is capable of several DCC modes (see
"Editing or Creating Presets", on page 2-49
), each
with varying performance in terms of energy savings and effects on the reproduced signal. The
selectable options are:

AMC (see

Once a DCC curve has been selected, the desired
Max DCC Compression
level can be entered. This
setting defines the maximum reduction in carrier (or carrier and sideband) power for a given curve.
Standard compression settings are as follows:
•
AMC and EAMC modes: 3 dB
•
DAM, Full DAM and DCC1 modes: 4.44 dB
