9. To improve overall system security, change the login password for the AUI display. Nautel factory
sets the AUI with a default login password. See the
“Editing account information”
section of the
GV10/GV7.5 Operating and Maintenance Manual

10. Obtain the Critical Parameters sheet (see Figure 2.9.1 on page 2.9.3 ) that was provided with your
transmitter’s Proof of Performance Tests. Both should be located in the back of the front door.
Compare the Critical Parameters for minimum power to the transmitter’s meter readings. Check
meter readings using the AUI. See the GV10/GV7.5 Operation and Maintenance Manual for
detailed information.
NOTE
: Critical Parameters data is recorded during factory testing at minimum and rated power levels, at
a frequency of 98.1 MHz. For this reason, certain meter readings at different power levels and
frequencies may vary from those recorded on the Critical Parameters sheet. Nautel recommends that
you initially set the RF output power for a minimum level and compare the transmitter performance to
the Critical Parameter data (for minimum power), provided with the Proof of Performance documents.
When you have confirmed that the critical parameter data is satisfactory, increase RF output power to
rated power and compare the transmitter to the Critical Parameter data for rated power.

11. Increase the transmitter’s output power to the assigned power level. Compare the Critical
Parameters to the transmitter’s meter readings, noting that power levels may be different.
