The
FUNCTION
touch-pad control is used in conjunction with the
TIMING
thumbwheel control to select the S1 and S2 modes. The modes are listed
below.
S1 Modes:
These four modes allow S1 and S2 to operate as completely independent
stimulators.
• SINGLE PULSE (SP)
• REPEATING PULSE (RP)
• SINGLE TRAIN (ST)
• REPEATING TRAIN (RT)
The following two modes are externally controlled requiring an external
trigger to the
S1 DELAY SYNC IN
or
TRAIN DURATION SYNC IN
terminal. (See

later in this chapter for more information.)
• EXT CONTROL FROM “S1 DELAY” (SD)
• EXT CONTROL FROM “TRAIN DUR” (TD)
S2 Modes:
The first four modes allow S2 to operate as a completely independent
stimulator.
• SINGLE PULSE (SP)
• REPEATING PULSE (RP)
• SINGLE TRAIN (ST)
• REPEATING TRAIN (RT)
The following modes synchronize S2 to S1.
• SYNC WITH S1 (SS)
• POST S1 TRAIN (PT)
• SYNC TRAIN TO S1 (TS)
• SINGLE ARRHYTHMIC (SA)
The last mode is externally controlled via a trigger pulse applied to the
S2
DELAY SYNC IN
terminal.
• EXT CONTROL FROM “S2 DELAY” (SD)
