PABX / MULTI-LINE SYSTEM
ANALOGUE EXTENSION - Set AAD to operate in Mode 3
1) TELEPHONE LINE INPUT CONNECTION
AAD
can be connected to an Analogue Extension of a PABX, or other
Multi-Line telephone system.
Note :
The PABX system should then be programmed to connect
incoming telephone calls to this Analogue Extension.
Note :
The PABX system should ALSO have a ‘HOTDIAL’ Instruction for
this Extension, so that Incoming calls can then be automatically
transferred to an Extension or Extension GROUP after AAD plays its
Message and Hangs Up.
2) TELEPHONE LINE OUTPUT CONNECTION
Leave the Telephone Line Out connection Empty.
PSTN LINE - Set AAD to operate in Mode 1 or Mode 2 as required
1) TELEPHONE LINE INPUT CONNECTION
In this situation AAD should be connected in SERIES fashion ahead of
the telephone system controller. Additional
AAD
units can be fitted to
other lines if required. This must be done by a suitably qualified
telephone technician.
2) TELEPHONE LINE OUTPUT CONNECTION
Connect the LINE OUT port of
AAD
to the appropriate trunk line port of
the PABX system. This completes a series connection of AAD to one
specific telephone line.

3) POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION

AAD
and then switch the power on.
