04.04 Safety Rules
1. The header should set in motion only by qualified operators who know the operations and harvesting techniques.
2. Before to use the header make sure that all safety guards are in place and properly secured with screws.
3. Always move away the children from the header.
4. Do not ever try to pull or push the crop in different parts of the header with your hands or with feet. In case of
clogging, stop the engine of the machine, wait until it’s complete stopped and then remove the key from the
dashboard before remove the crops with the hands or feet.

Do not touch any moving parts of the header although the protective devices are installed, except in the case of
ordinary / extraordinary maintenance.
6. Before carrying out any cleaning, lubrication or registration, put the header to the ground or place the proper locks
on jacks lifting header (refer to the operating instructions of the combine for information on the use of jacks). Stop
the engine of the combine, remove the key from dashboard and wait until the machine is completely stopped.
8. Do not work around the header wearing clothing that could become caught in one of the moving parts.
9. After any maintenance, always refit all guards.
04.05 Personal protective equipment
CAUTION!
During operations, controls and / or verification, you
MUST wear protective gloves, overalls and shoes.
If you make ANY operation below
the header, it is MANDATORY to
also wear helmet and protective
glasses.
Most of accidents with farm machinery can be prevented with few simple safety rules.
