06.02 Sunflower header working principles
The transmission of motion to the sunflower header takes place through cardan joint which connects the combine to the
header.
The header can only work if the harvesting mechanism is in motion.
Once set up of the combine is made, you can proceed to harvest, sunflowers get channeled between dividers until they
reach the cutting blade; the product through the reel is sent to the feeder auger which introduces the sunflowers in the
mechanism of the combine.
The reel’s shield is adjustable and allows to adapt the product collection to the most various conditions and sizes.
