The valve access door rotates on the pins attached to the side frame. Lift the valve
access door off the pins to operate the main glass door.
6.0 FINISHING
6.1 DOOR INSTALLATION / REMOVAL
Before the glass door can be removed, the
optional front, louvres and insets must be
removed.
The glass door is secured to the top front edge
of the
fi
rebox with two latches. Pull the handles
of the latches forward, then lift the latches out
from the door frame to release the top of the
door. Next, pivot the door forward until the top
edge clears the front of the
fi
replace. Carefully
grip the sides of the door lifting it out from the
retainer along the bottom of the door.
6.2 REMOVING THE VALVE ACCESS DOOR

REMOVED, CRACKED, BROKEN OR SCRATCHED.
FACING AND/OR FINISHING MATERIAL MUST NEVER OVERHANG INTO THE APPLIANCE OPENING.

SERVICE. OBSERVE ALL CLEARANCES WHEN APPLYING COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
BEFORE DOOR IS REMOVED TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF AND WAIT UNTIL APPLIANCE IS COOL TO
THE TOUCH. DOORS ARE HEAVY AND FRAGILE SO HANDLE WITH CARE.
