Reset Device - forces the device to be rebooted. This button does not help when the device is in
UltraScope mode.
Set Bootloader - forces the device to stop normal operation and enter in bootloader mode for updating the
firmware. Please read section 7 of this User's Guide for details about updating the firmware.
Check FW Update - forces the device to stop normal operation and poll specified IP address for firmware
updates. The utility will offer the user to perform the update when a new firmware file is found.
Get Range - reads maximum device operating range in cm. The device is not capable to detect an object
beyond this range.
Set Range - programs the device maximum operating range in cm. The device is not capable to detect an
object beyond this range. The value is taken from the edit box below the Set Range button.
Operating Range Criteria - selects the criterion which defines operating range. Sensitivity defines the
range for breathing detection. Visibility defines the range for motion detection. Sensitivity range is
always shorter than visibility range.
Get DSP Params - reads the device settings that affect on Alarm, Presence and Motion Flags appearance.
Set DSP Params - programs the device settings that affect on Alarm, Presence and Motion Flags
appearance.
The following DSP Params can be read or programmed:
Sampling Rate, Hz - read-only value - specifies
Noise Threshold, units – specifies sensitivity of the device. The smaller value of the threshold –
the higher sensitivity has the device in terms of live object detection. On the other hand, setting
the threshold too low will make the device over sensitive and the device will be detecting live
objects even in empty premises. Default value is 100 000 energy units.
Motion Threshold, units – specifies device reaction on strong movements. The smaller value of
the threshold – the higher probability that the device sets Motion Flag when the object is detected.
Default value is 10 000 000 000 energy units.
Alarm On Delay, s. – determines degree of confidence for the alarm event. The bigger “Alarm On
Delay” is – the higher confidence of the alarm event. On the other hand, setting “Alarm On
Delay” too big will delay reporting moment about empty premises from the real event further in
time. Default value is 10 seconds.
Alarm Off Delay, s. – reduces probability of false live object detection. The bigger “Alarm Off
Delay” is – the lower probability of the false live object detection. On the other hand, setting
“Alarm Off Delay” too big will delay reporting moment about live object detection from the real
event further in time. Default value is 10 seconds.
Get MAC address - displays MAC address of the device.
Get Country Code - displays country code for Wi-Fi operation. Applicable only to the devices with Wi-Fi
option enabled.
Get Network Mode - displays selected network mode, either AP for Wi-Fi access point or STA for
network station (wired or wireless) or TERMINAL for NO/NC relay contacts.
