Status LEDs
There are 2 LEDs showing the device status: READY LED (green) and ALARM LED (red). LEDs
are described in Table 2 below.

5.4.
Reading Device Status
Bed Watcher device status can be read via ETHERNET RJ45 socket located on the bottom side of the
device. When STA or AP network mode is enabled the device operates as a TCP/IP server and
responds on requests from client applications according to the data exchange protocol described in a
separate document. When TERMINAL network mode in enabled, the alarm status is signaled by
closing NO1 and NO2 contacts, which remain open at no alarm conditions.
6. Configuration Options
The Bed Watcher has minimum number of parameters that can be configured. Bed Watcher Test utility
for Windows must be used in order to read device settings or program new device settings. Its main
window is shown on Figure 5.
