4-5 Filling the machine with coins
4-5-1 Filling the Hoppers
(1) Filling the coin hopper (O) with coins
Pour about 40 coins into the hopper. This hopper runs continuously during normal
game play, the coins inserted now will be payed out as soon as the game is put
into game play mode. This operation is to ensure that the escalator is full ready
for game play.
(2) Filling coin hoppers (L), (R) with coins
Unlock and open the maintenance door. Lift and remove the D hopper chutes of
the coin hoppers (L), (R).
Fill the coin hoppers with coins, and reinstall the D hopper chutes.
Close the maintenance door.
• Coins inserted by players are dispensed. Therefore, limit the amount of coins in
the coin hoppers (L), (R) to about 90 ~ 120 coins. If an excessive amount of
coins are placed in the hoppers, the motor load can increase and may shorten
the service life of the coin hoppers.
•
If the 1-13, 1-23 Coin Hopper (L), (R) Empty error is generated frequently (except
when coins are jammed or hoppers are empty), fill the coin hoppers with more
coins within the above-mentioned range. This may reduce the error generating
frequency in some cases.
• Use clean, uniform coins fit for use in the machine.

If coins with different diameters or thicknesses, deformed coins, or dirty coins are
used, they may not be dispensed properly. They can also cause coin hopper
malfunctions.
