3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Among the main features of the Nahita precision balances series 5152 it is worth noting:

4. INSTALLATION / SETTING UP
Preliminary inspection
Unwrap the balance, take off the involving plastic and take off the polispan protection
in which it comes fitted.
Make sure that it does not present any damage because of the shipment. In case the
balance presents any damage tell it immediately to your transport agent or dealer so that
they can make the claims in the correct time limit.
We will only accept any equipment return within 15 days after delivery and provi-
ded it comes in its original wrapping with all the accessories and documents sup-
plied.

4. When the weight is displayed, remove the weight from the pan and the balance will
sabe the new calibration. Finally the balance returns to the weighing mode and “0.00 g”
is displayed.

After calibration the balance can operate as usual.
Piece counting function (“Mode PCS”)
On mode PCS the balance can calcúlate the number of piecse placed on the pan. For this
function proceed as follows:
1. Press On/Off

to turn the balance on and then wait value “0.00 g” is stable on dis-
play.
2. Put on the pan the number of pieces that will be taken as the reference and press PCS
(2.3)
3. By default the value “10” will be displayed; this value referes to the number of pieces
that will be taken as the reference.
4. If any other reference value needs to be set, press UNIT
(2.2)
; the different values avai-
lable (10, 20, 50 and 100) will be displayed consecutively. Press PCS
(2.3)
to confirm.
5. Remove the reference pieces (value “0” on display) and put he sample on the pan to
count the pieces that it contains.
6. The corresponding number of pieces will be displayed.
Security
The balance must be used by previously qualified staff that knows how the equipment
works thanks to the user manual.
Follow all required
applicable laws about safety and health
(electrical security devices,
inflammable, toxic and/or pathological products, etc.).
Put the balance on top of a horizontal, plane and stable table making the enough free
space around for a comfortable operation.
Do not put the balance near any warm supply (burners, blowlamps…), nor expose it
directly to the sun, etc. Avoid vibrations, dust and dry environments.
When you are not using the balance for a long period of time please make sure it is
unplugged in order to avoid possible accidents.
It is essential to have the equipment switched off and unplugged from the net before
cleaning, checking components or replacing any piece.
