Align the 15-way connector with the shell and fasten it, making sure the
fastening clasp clicks.
Check the positioning of the Basic Kit2, left side, matching up the press-stud
with the hole in the Basic Kit2.
Pass the chin strap (left side) through the slot in the padding (fig. 34).
Position the neck roll slot between the Basic Kit2 and the shell until the press-
stud clicks. Be careful not to widen the Basic Kit2 too much (fig. 35).

Fasten the left cheek pad area in its original position, clicking the press-stud.
Now the Basic Kit2 is fastened to the inside of the shell (fig. 36).
Look at the 15-pin connector from the outside of the helmet.
Check that the fastening clasp is properly inserted (A) If the fastening clasp is
not properly inserted, proceed as follows.
Detach the left check pad. Push the Basic Kit2 from the inside of the helmet,
until the fastening clasp clicks into place. The fastening clasp is rigid and the
clicking is evident. It is possible to make the operation easier by pushing the
external shell of the helmet and the Basic Kit2, in order to bring the two surfaces
together (B+C) (Fig. 37).
