Catalyst Overpressure
The catalyst overpressure (Cat O/P) restrictor controls the rate at which air is supplied to the
bleed control circuit. When the cat O/P leaks more air than can be supplied through this
restrictor, the pressure in the circuit falls and the pump stops. When the circuit is sealed once
again, the restrictor controls how quickly the pressure builds within the circuit and therefore the
time and speed which it takes the pump to restart. The slower the flow of air, the longer the pump
will take to restart.
8. Turn the knob marked FC04 to adjust the catalyst overpressure speed.
Note
If the restrictor is fully wound in, airflow will be blocked and the pump will not
start. Conversely, if too higher flow of air is supplied to the circuit, safe and
correct operation of the machine cannot be guaranteed. This flow control is
set at factory and should not be adjusted unless absolutely necessary.
Getting Started
CAUTION
Always put on respirator as specified for spray painting and all personal
protective equipment/clothing recommended by the Material Safety Data
Sheets (MSDS) of your material manufacturer(s).
1. Have all tools and materials needed for pre-start checks available.
2. Connect an appropriate air supply to the main air inlet.
3. Slide the air valve on the back of the control cabinet to the open position.
4. Twist and pump the emergency stop button to allow machine operation.
5. Check all catalyst and resin fittings to be sure they are tight.
6. Fill the resin pump packing nut cavity

full with TSL oil or equivalent.
7. Press the
Injection
button and check that the injection gun valve rotates open.
8. Press the
Stop
button.
9. Tighten both the packing nuts on the injection gun block.
