Balance the pressures in the cylinders: the mercury
columns must reach the same height.
If all the parameters of the engine are set correctly, the
position of the adjusting screws should be between 1
and 3.5 turns from the closed position.
The number of turns per minute must fall within the fol-
lowing values: 1150 ÷ 1250 turns/min.
Check the CO value using the exhaust gas analyser.
This value must be between the following values
(inclusive):
This value must fall within the following values: 3.5% +
0.5% (3.0% - 4%)
If the CO value does not fall into the established
values, operate the trimmer inside the gearcase until
the values fall into the tolerance range.
