Adjusting the Slack Detection Sensor 35

The angles of the slack detection sensor and sensor reflector may not be aligned after adjusting the rails.

In the following case, adjust the angle of the slack detection sensor:

• If only the green lamp of the slack detection sensor turns on when the take-up unit is turned on.

(In a normal case, the orange and green lamps turn on at the same time.)

Adjusting the Slack Detection Sensor

Note

If there are any objects between the slack detection sensor and sensor reflector, remove them and check the above item.

Adjusting the Angle of the Slack Detection Sensor

Turn on the Take-up Unit.

Use a hexagonal wrench (commercial product), and loosen two screws

(hexagon socket head cap screw M4 × 8) of the slack detection sensor of the

front tension unit (Home side).

[3]

• Move the slack detection sensor sideways, and then adjust the angle.

• When the green and orange lamps light up on the slack detection sensor

(light receiving) at the same time, the adjustment is complete.

Tighten the screws that you loosened in step 2.
