Adding a Device to the Manager
In order for the Device Manager to recognize a MultiAccess unit, the MultiAccess must be added to the
manager. The Device Manager can manage multiple MultiAccess units as long as the Device Manager
has access to that network.
1. To launch the Device Manager program from the Windows desktop, go to
Start
|
Programs
|
Multi-Tech Device Manager

. The Device Manager main screen
will appear.
2. To add a MultiAccess to the Manager, click
Edit
menu and select
Add Device
. When the
Add
Device Address
screen appear, click on the
Select Server
down arrow and select
MultiAccess
ACS
.
3. In
the
Enter Address
window, enter the IP address for the unit you are adding.
4. In
the
Username
and
Password
windows, enter the administrator’s username and password for
the unit you are adding.
5. Click
OK
when you are finished.
6. The Device Manager screen appears with the added Device.
