Draining residual oil from equip-
ment carrier (only with un-
scheduled engine oil change)
1.
Provide a suitable container in which to col-
lect the engine oil.
2.
Remove drain plug (1) and drain engine oil
from engine oil heat exchanger and from en-
gine oil filter.
3.
Remove drain plugs (2) and (3) and drain en-
gine oil.
4.
Install drain plug(s) with new sealing ring.
5.
Tighten drain screws (2) and (3) to specified torque using a torque wrench.

Filling with new engine oil
1.
Open cover (1) on filler neck.
2.
Pour engine oil through the filler neck up to
the “max.” mark on the oil dipstick.
3.
Close cover (1) on filler neck.
4.
Check engine oil level (→ Page 105).
5.
Crank engine on starting system (→ Page 69).
