or turns slowly.
1. Initiate new starting attempt.
2. Check voltage at starter power supply.
3. Request towing locomotive if required.
93 – SS T-Preheat
No alarm, fault is registered.
Cause
Corrective action
Preheating temperature too low;
coolant temperature too low for
engine start. Significantly
increased engine wear. Engine
start might be inhibited by the
locomotive control system.
Engine may be started in
emergency situations only.
1. Extend preheating period.
2. Check preheating unit.
94 – LO T-Preheat
