7.19.1 Generator – Greasing antifriction bearing

Greasing antifriction bearing

Clean grease nipple (arrow).

Attach grease gun with suitable connecting
head, DIN71412 Form A, on grease nipple.

Note:

Repeat greasing when the unit is running.
The temperature of the antifriction bearing
increases temporarily after greasing.

Use appropriate grease and press in the
correct amount of grease.
