3.10 Emergency stop
CAUTION
An emergency stop causes extreme stress to the engine.
Risk of overheating, damage to components!
• Initiate emergency stop only in emergency situations.

• Engine is stopped by disconnecting the power supply to the ECU;
• Emergency air shutoff flaps close (if provided);
• signalization (e.g. by horn, beacon) is activated.
After emergency stop

Press pushbutton for alarm acknowledgment.
• Audible and visual signalization stops.
Engine
Manually open emergency air shutoff flaps (if provided).
• Engine is ready for starting.
