Guarantee applies to the basic product supplied together with accessories.
Guarantee period:
Period of guarantee amounts to 24 months from the date of sale to the purchaser. The period
between the application of right from the liability for defects until the time the user was obliged to
take over the object after repair is not included in the guarantee period.
The seller is obliged to issue a confirmation to the purchaser, stating the date of asserting the
right, as well as the realization of the repair and its duration. If a product is replaced, the
guarantee period starts anew as of the moment of accepting the new product.
Scope of guarantee and importer’s responsibilities:
The importer is responsible for guaranteeing that throughout the period of guarantee, the product
will maintain qualities usual for the given type of product and stated parameters.
The importer is not responsible for defects of product caused by regular wear and tear or the use
of product for other than designated purposes.
The extinction of guarantee:
The right to a guarantee ceases to exist if:
a) the product was not used and maintained according to the instructions for use, or it was
damaged by any unprofessional interventionof the user,
b) the product was used in conditions or for purposes other than the ones it was designated for,
c) the certificate of guarantee cannot be presented,
d) data stated by manufacturer, seller, or servicing organisation in the original product
documentation were rewritten on purpose,
e) a part of the product was replaced with an unoriginal part,
f) the product was damaged or worn out excessively due to insufficient maintenance,
g) the product crashed or it was damaged due to force majeure,
h) the product was changed without the manufacturer’s consent,
i) defects were caused by unprofessional storage of the product,
j) defects occurred due to natural and regular operational wear and tear of the product,
k) the product was connected to or operated with a facility that was not approved by the
manufacturer,
Asserting the claim
The purchaser asserts the claim with the seller. In asserting the claim, the purchaser is obliged to
present a duly filled in certificate of guarantee or purchase document. Guarantee repairs are
carried out by the seller or repair shops authorized by him.
