MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
KTM 1290 Super Duke GT 2019-
Thank you for buying a MRA Windshield.
Read this manual carefully and check the parts list for completeness before you begin. We recommend
that you have your screen fitted by an authorised workshop.

Mounting the windscreen on the motorcycle:
1. Place the motorcycle on a flat surface.
2. Dismantle the original windscreen.
3. Ensure that the handlebar clamps are mounted in the rear position and the handlebar in the “0” position (P1).
4. Take the retaining plates [11441] provided and insert the M5X30mm fillister head screws [10566] with the
plastic washers [10635] through the upper holes. Then, push the 20mm spacers [11181] against them from
behind and secure these using O-rings [10992].
5. Insert the M5x20mm fillister head screws [10673] through the lower holes and place the 10mm spacers
[10633] against them from behind. Secure these with the small O-rings [10992] as well (P2).
6. Mount the retaining plates to the motorcycle and tighten the fastening screws (P3).
7. Take the MRA windscreen and insert the M5X20mm fillister head screws [10673] with the plastic washers
[10635] through the holes. Now, push the 3mm spacers [10872] against them from behind and secure these
using O-rings [10992] (P4).
8. Mount the MRA windscreen to the motorcycle and tighten the fastening screws.
9. Apply the protective edge strip profile as shown in Figure 5. Cut off the rest if required.
10. Push the clamping sleeves over the ends of the protective edge strip profile and lightly press these together
using a pair of pliers to secure the protective edge strip profile.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
spirits to clean the screen as they will damage it.
