Reset procedure
The reset button (blue button) is the reset button, if everything is declared safe you may press the
reset button to put the machine back into operation. You may only reset if you have inspected the
entire machine. The blue button is the reset button to restart the press module after an emergency
stop. The blue lamp lights up continuously on the safety PLC in the event of a general malfunction
and when an emergency stop is activated.
The reset button is positioned through the service hatch on the outside of the waste container at
ground level and is therefore accessible to any electrician or mechanic. When pressing this button
until the blue LED of the safety PLC lights up, the system is reset and a lockdown is released, for
example.
The reset button consists of two mechanical contacts, a normaly open (NO) and a normaly close
(NC). The NC contact is used for diagnosis whether the button still functions properly. The NO
contact is used for the reset function. If there is a break in the cable, this is recognised and the
system is not simply reset.
