GENERAL
1.
Process fruits and vegetables as fresh and ripe as possible.
2.
Soft and/or overripe products do not give a clear juice.
3.
Apple juice may turn brown fast. To slow down the browning, squeeze a few lemon juice
drops into apple juice.
4.
If the juice is too thick, you can thin it with mineral water.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Proper cleaning and care will extend the life of your Slow Juic-
er. The Slow Juicer also extracts minerals from the products, including
calcium. It is recommended to clean all appliance parts after each use.
Do this with detergents which prevent scale.
1.
Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
2.
Wipe clean the motor unit housing only with a damp cloth
(add some detergent to remove persistent dirt).
CAUTION! Do not immerse the motor unit housing in water.
3.
Thoroughly clean all food contact parts with warm water and some detergent after each
use (it is best to clean directly after juice extraction).
Water used for cleaning should
not be warmer than 60°C.
Components of the appliance (except for the housing) may be
used in the washer, if the temperature is set below 60°C.
4.
Do not clean with strong cleaning agents, acetone, alcohol, sharp tools, etc.
5.
Thoroughly clean the mesh filter basket after each use. This is best done with the
brush (18) included with the appliance.
6.
Do not submerge the motor unit in water or other liquids!
7.
If the appliance accessories become discoloured from juice (from carrots, oranges, etc.),
you may wipe off the discolouration with a cloth and some cooking oil.
8.
After cleaning and drying all parts, the Slow Juicer must be reassembled (see Section “AS-
SEMBLING THE JUICER”).
