JUICE EXTRACTION
NOTE! Fruits with seeds such as peaches, plums, cherries, must be pitted first, stones removed.
NOTE! Do not cut vegetables and fruits into thin slices, cubes, etc. Too small or too large pieces will result in
slow juicing.
1.
Place the appliance on a smooth, stable and flat surface. Before plugging the appliance
make sure it switched off (position
0
)
2.
Thoroughly wash fruits and vegetables to be juiced, then cut them into small pieces (but
not slices or small pieces), so that they can easily pass through the hole in the cover (6).
3.
Put the juice and waste container (4) under corresponding openings in the main
container (5). Remove the plug from the juice outlet (12).
4.
Turn on Slow Juicer using the switch (2).
5.
Put fruits and vegetables into the hole in the cover (6) by pushing them with the pusher
only (7).
6.
From time to time check if the waste and juice container (4) is no filled - if you need to
empty it, first switch off the appliance using the switch (2) and plug the juice outlet (12)
with a plug.
7.
The appliance may stop in the case of high resistance. In such a situation turn it off (2), as
this may indicate that the pieces of vegetables and fruits are too large. This occurs mainly
in case of hard fruits and vegetables. You should turn the switch (2) to reverse position. The
juice extractor will start to operate in reverse mode to unlock the motor. If the problem
persists, disassemble the appliance, clean and re-assemble it (see point. “Juice extractor
assembly”).
NOTE! Never open the cover (6) when the juice extractor is running! The cover has a safety feature which turns
off the motor when released. Do not close the plug while extracting juice from ingredients generating foam
(e.g. apple, celery). Exercise caution while extracting juice when the plug is closed. If the amount of juice in the
main container (5) exceeds its capacity, excess juice may overflow.
GENERAL REMARKS
1.
Use whenever possible fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables.
2.
Soft and very ripe fruit will result in a juice being less clear.
3.
A few drops. of lemon juice will slow down this process.
4.
If the juice is too dense, add some water.
