To ensure long life of the cooktop, do not let any liquids drip onto the cooking plates. Smoke
may appear when using the cooktop for the first time - this is a normal phenomenon and will
subside in further use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, the cooktop must be unplugged and left to cool down. The ceramic surface
must be cleaned with damp cloth and a gentle cleaning agent for ceramic surfaces, and the
housing must be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure water does not penetrate into the
cooktop, because this may damage the cooktop.
NOTE! The cooktop and the power lead must not be submerged in water or other liquids.

ed-over to a point for collection of electric waste. In order to obtain detailed information regarding the electric waste col-
lection points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric waste collection or used equipment processing de-
partment.
