Avoid dropping hard objects onto the cooktop. Excessive
shocks may cause permanent damage to the ceramic surface.
If any damage is found on the cooktop (e.g. cracks, scratches,
spalling) switch it off immediately, because there is risk of
electric shock.
The cooktop’s power lead must not contact its cooking plates.
The cooktop is not designed to serve as a storage place for
any objects.
Sealed cans or other sealed packages must not be heated
up, because the thermal energy accumulated inside them
may lead to rapid rupture.
The cooktop’s cooking plate surface is hot. Be cautious if
there are small children near the cooktop.
The cooktop must not be used in places where high tem-
peratures are present, e.g. near gas cookers.
Clean the cooking plates regularly.
The temperature of the cooktop’s surfaces may be higher
during operation.
The cooktop’s cooking plates must not be touched during
operation. The cooktop’s cooking plates remain hot long
after the cooktop has been switched off. Exercise caution.
The cooktop must not be placed directly near walls, furniture
or under cupboards. Make sure safe distance is maintained.
Warning! Hot surface!
