BEFORE FIRST USE

1.

Remove the slow cooker from the box, discard any bags, stickers and polystyrene fillers.

2.

Inspect the device for damage during transport and contact the seller when in doubt.

3.

Verify that your power mains match the nameplate ratings of the slow cooker.

4.

Handle the slow cooker by its handles (3) only.

5.

Remove the stoneware dish (5) from the slow cooker and wash it clean (see CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE)

REMOVING / INSTALLING THE STONEWARE DISH

CAUTION! Risk of burns. Remove the stoneware dish out of the slow cooker after cooking with heat-resistant
kitchen mittens only.

CAUTION! Before removing or installing the stoneware dish, verify that the slow cooker is unplugged from
power.

1.

Press the lid unlock button (7). The lid lock clasps (4) will leave their seats (8).

2.

Lift the lid (6) up and put it aside.

3.

Grasp the stoneware dish (5) by the side handles and lift it out of the heating chamber. Put
the stoneware dish aside.

4.

The stoneware dish is installed in the reverse order. When the stoneware dish sits in the
heating chamber and the lid is on the slow cooker, push down the lid lock clasps (4) into
the seats (8) by hand until they are secured in place. The lid gasket must fit snugly on the
stoneware dish.

CAUTION! Before installing the stoneware dish, verify that the heating chamber (10) is clean and dry, and the
outer surface of the stoneware dish is perfectly dry.

USING THE SLOW COOKER

1.

Place the slow cooker on a level, stable, smooth and dry surface.

2.

Put the food into the stoneware dish (5) installed in the slow cooker. The maximum volume
of food is 6.5 litres. Never put less than 3.5 litres of food into the stoneware dish (the contents
should be above the half of depth of the dish).

3.

Put the lid (6) on the stoneware dish and secure the lid lock clasps (4) in the seats (8).

4.

Plug the power cord to a power outlet.

CAUTION! Do not connect the slow cooker to power without the stoneware dish installed.

5.

Power on the slow cooker by pressing START/STOP (2a). The START/STOP LED will go on. If
you do not operate any button for over 1 minute, the slow cooker will power off and the
START/STOP LED will go off.

6.

Press COOKING TIME (2b). The COOKING TIME LED will flash slowly and the cooking time
value will appear on the LED display (2i). Set the cooking time with the Adjust Time (+) and (-)
buttons (2g, 2h). The time range is 30 minutes to 18 hours in 30-minute increments. If you do
not operate any button for over 1 minute or proceed to the next step of this instruction, the
slow cooker will power off.
