Sending and Receiving Calls
Sending a Call
To call a number, your phone must be turned on, be unlocked,
and have a network connection with adequate signal strength.
Note:
You can make an emergency call even when the phone is
locked. See “Dialing an Emergency Number When Your Phone is
Locked” on page 20.

Tip:
Your phone uses a two-stage
antenna that must be fully extended
for proper operation. You may have
to pull on the antenna a second time
to extend the antenna to its
maximum length.
