GPRS Tri Band T260 Level 3  procedure      Rev.1

NO POWER UP

Download into emmibox the correct 

Software, connect the phone using 

EXT_B+ Supply(about 4,5V) to 

Emmi_box and check if the phone 

Download the program.

Flash the La 

Flexing and make a 

complete Test

after few seconds phone power up correctly

Is B+ voltage 

present on 

C915 ?

Make S.C. on R911 watch_dog close 

C913 and check following voltages:

V_BOOST = 5,6 V on C913

V2 = 2,7 V on C939

V3 = 1,87 V on C910 

V_REF = 2,8 V on C919

For wrong V_BOOST1 check in 

sequence  L901,CR902,R904 and U900 

NOTE1 or faulty.

For other voltages check for any short to 

ground, else check U900 NOTE1 or 

faulty.

Is the Main frequency 

of Y200 on R244

 (close U200) 

present and correct 

(26 MHz) ?

Is the Frequency 

13Mhz present and 

correct on R238 ?

(close U200)

Check the following Bias:

RF_V1 on Q201 (2.7 V C217)
RF_V2 on Q202 (2.7 V C215)

If NOT OK Check the correct voltage on C213 

(VREF from U900) than the rispective FET and U200 to 

solve the Fault.

If OK Check Y200 and U200 NOTE1 or faulty.   

Check the 13Mhz Clock on C225.

If NOT OK verify CR248 and respective 

components NOTE1or faulty.

If OKverify U200 NOTE1 or faulty.
