This option applies only to the USB HID Keyboard Emulation device. Enable this to replace any FN 1
characters in an EAN 128 bar code with a user-selected Key Category and value

(see

FN1 Substitution Values

on page 4-30

to set the Key Category and Key Value).

ASCII values under 32 are normally sent as a control-key sequences (see
