Phone Basics
Storing the Phone in its
Holster
To slip your phone into its holster, make sure the battery is
facing the outside of the holster. Then clip the holster onto a
belt, purse or briefcase.
The holster has been designed for your convenience and is
not meant to secure your phone under all circumstances.
Viewing the Phone Number
Placing a Call
To place a call:
Turn on
1. Press and hold
P
until the display
appears and you hear an audible alert.
Enter
number
2. Enter the number you want to call, for
example: 555-1212.
• Press
-
to erase one digit at a
time if you make a mistake.
• Press and hold
-
to clear the
entire entry.
You can also recall a previously dialed
or stored number. See “Using Phone
Memory” for details on storing or
recalling numbers.
