Power On/Off
In order to use the phone, you should insert the USIM (Universal
Subscriber Identity Module) card supplied by SKT. However, you
can use emergency calls and basic menus without the USIM card.

• The power on/off backgrounds can be selected in ‘Bakcgrounds’
(‘Backgrounds’, refer to page 75)
Standby Screen
• The LCD screen may not be displayed clearly if you are under
a light (direct sun light, etc.). The appropriate brightness is that of the
shadowed area or that proper to read books.
• To reduce consumption of battery, the light of the display gets off
automatically if the set time is passed.
• Weather report and news displayed at the bottom of the
screen are the widgets developed and supplied by SKT.
Refer to ‘Checking weather/news’ for details. (‘Checking
weather/news’, refer to page 39)
• From the standby screen, you can adjust the volume by
turning the wheel button
• From the standby screen, you can use the Human Networks
function by pressing the wheel button.
