Write text in apps using stylus
In any app where you would type, you can write by hand with your stylus and convert it to keyboard text.
To write by hand:
1. To open the keyboard, touch a text field where you want the cursor.
2. To switch to the handwriting keyboard, touch
.
3. In the text entry box, start writing with your stylus (or finger) and watch the text appear at the cursor.
If you don't see the handwriting keyboard, you can turn it on:
1. On the keyboard, touch .
2. Touch Languages and select your language.
3. Swipe right, if needed, and turn on Handwriting layout.
If you don't see it, then Handwriting is not available for your language.
4. Touch Done.
