Hands-Free Speakerphone
The i80s phone provides the convenience of a hands-free speakerphone for
holding impromptu meetings and placing safer phone calls.
NOTE: During speakerphone operation, you may either speak or listen,
but you cannot do both at the same time.
The speakerphone option is available whenever you are on an active call.
While speakerphone is on, Spkrphone On appears in the text display area.
Mute
Use the Mute feature to listen to incoming audio without allowing sound from
your phone’s microphone to be transmitted over the phone line.
While mute is on, UNMUTE appears as a display option and Mute appears in
the text display area.
Call Waiting
Call Waiting allows you to receive a second call while you are talking on the
phone. You can switch between calls so you never have to miss a call. By
default, Call Waiting is always on unless you turn it off for a specific call.
While on an active call, press
B
under SPKR.
Or, press
t
to turn the speakerphone on.
Press
B
under SPKR or press
t
to turn the speakerphone off.
While on an active call, press
B
under MUTE to turn mute on.
Press
B
under UNMUTE to turn mute off.
