Troubleshooting Sensors 

  

Symptom Remedies 

LED lamp does not light up or flash when sensor 
is triggered 

Be sure that batteries are properly inserted with the correct polarity.  

Be sure you are using fully-charged batteries. 

Be sure that the sensor has been registered with the system. 

Controller does not recognize the sensor during 
discovery 

Make sure that the sensor has correct power. 

Position the sensor in closer proximity to the controller and try again. 

Check to make sure that no other wireless device is interfering with the sensor transmissions. The sensor 
transmits in the 418 MHz frequency band. 

Make sure that you have fully pressed and then released the discover button (on the back of the sensor). 

Events are not triggered 

Check to make sure that the sensor has been registered properly with the controller. 

Make sure that you have the proper settings configured for the sensor and the desired sensor event (in the 
Event Setup screen). 

Make sure that sensors are armed.
