CHAPTER 3
USB COMMUNICATION
Connecting to a Host Computer via USB
Connect the ET1 to a host computer using the USB/Charge Cable or Single-slot USB Docking Cradle to
transfer files between the ET1 and the host computer.
1.
Setup the ET1 and either the USB/Charge Cable or the Single-slot USB Docking Cradle. See
2.
Place the ET1 into the cable cup or the cradle.
USB Connected
appears on the Status bar.

Open the
Notifications
panel and touch
USB connected
. The
USB Mass Storage
screen displays.

Touch
Turn on USB storage
. The
Turn on USB Storage
dialog box appears.
CAUTION
When connecting the ET1 to a host computer and mounting its microSD card, follow the host
computer’s instructions for connecting and disconnecting USB devices, to avoid damaging or
corrupting files.
CAUTION
Ensure that all applications are not running. Loss of data may occur.
