Status Display Menus
Note: Some of the status screens are not displayed when the active signal is
received from a source other than the L-band input connector.
Status display menus provide information regarding the current status of the DSR-
4550. This menu lists important IRD parameters. These fields are not editable, and
the displayed information is either:
• The result of changes in an installation or channel selection menu.
• A parameter the DSR-4550 reports as part of its operation.
To access the Status Display menus, press ENTER button to return to the main top-
level menu (shown below).
Press the

buttons until the cursor is at the Status label, and press the ENTER
button. The DSR-4550 displays the first sub-menu within the Status menus.
Status1 Menu
Press the

buttons until the Status1 menu appears (shown below).
FrontPanel Field Default: Local Control
The Front Panel field indicates whether the user is able to control the IRD
completely from the front panel (Local Control) or whether some front panel
functions are disabled (Locked Out).
Input Type Field Default: L-Band
The Input Type field indicates the input connector (L-band or ASI) on which the
active signal is received.
