During normal operation:
■
The power and Online lights are on
■
The Activity light flashes when the Communications Gateway transfers data
■
The battery light is off

Battery:
■
Off when the AC power is on and the battery is not in use (the
Communications Gateway is functioning normally)
■
Solid yellow when the battery is in use (there is no AC power)
■
Flashes yellow when the battery is low
■
Solid red when the battery is missing or the battery terminals are connected
backwards
■
Flashes red when the battery has failed
To replace the battery, follow the instructions in
“Replacing the Battery”
on
page 45.
