Initial Camera Setup and Configuration
Setting the Blackbody Region of Interest
Before setting the blackbody region of interest, make sure that the camera and blackbody are installed and
positioned correctly to detect temperatures. For more information, see
1. Access the camera's web browser interface at http://
< camera IP address>/
.
2. Open the
Elevated Temperature
page.
3. On the camera's video image, click and drag the blackbody ROI so that it covers the blackbody
temperature area in the image. The blackbody ROI must be placed completely within the gray area
of the blackbody and should not have any portion outside of that area.
Note:
If the blackbody position or camera angle is changed at all after setting the blackbody
ROI, the placement of the blackbody ROI will have to be updated for that change.
4. Click
Apply
to save your settings.
Verifying the Temperature Accuracy and Adjusting the
Offset
Before verifying the camera's temperature accuracy, you must discover and connect your elevated
temperature detection camera in your ACC system. For more information, see the

Client User Guide.
