set speed dial number
Note: To use speed dial to call a contact, see page 51.
To assign a speed dial number to a Contacts entry:
1 From the main screen, press the Right Soft
Key (

) ( Contacts ) to open the CONTACT LIST .
2 Use the Navigation Key (
N
) to scroll to the entry
and press the Left Soft Key (
:
) ( Edit ).
3 Scroll to the number to be assigned a speed dial
number and press the Right Soft Key (
:
) ( Options ).
4 Select Set Speed Dial by pressing the Center Select
Key (
M
) ( OK ).
5 Select an unassigned speed dial number and
press the Center Select Key (
M
) ( SET ).
6 When the phone prompts Add Contact to Speed Dial? ,
use the Navigation Key (
N
) to select Yes and
press the Center Select Key (
M
) ( OK ).
7 Press the Center Select Key (
M
) ( SAVE ).
set default number for entry
To set the default number for a Contacts entry with
multiple numbers:
1 From the main screen, press the Right Soft
Key (

) ( Contacts ) to open the CONTACT LIST .
2 Use the Navigation Key (

) to scroll to the entry
and press the Left Soft Key (

) ( Edit ).
3 Scroll to the number to be set as the default
number and press the Right Soft Key (

) ( Options ).
4 Scroll to Set As Default and press the Center Select
Key (
M
) ( OK ).
5 When the phone prompts Set as Default? , use the
Navigation Key (
N
) to select Yes and press the
Center Select Key (
M
) ( OK ).
