9. TIG welding
Connect TIG torch to the minus socket at the front of the device, tighten
the gas connection (3) and the control plug (4).
9.1 TIG welding with continuous current
Set the operation mode
, diode is on (4).
Set the required parameters:
•
- gas flow time
•
- starting current
•
- current rising time
•
A1 - welding current
•
A2 - basic current (for handles with double button)
•
- welding current drop time
•
- end current
•
- gas postflow time
Available torch and strike operation modes:
Operation in 2-
stroke
mode:
After pressing the trigger in the welding torch, electric arc will appear
between the tip of the tungsten electrode and the parent material (HF
strike or Lift-Arc strike by rubbing) with the current value of I
start
After
release of the trigger, the current will drop to zero within the time of T↓ .
After the arc goes off, the gas gets out within the postflow time set.
