1.4 Positioning the stove/distance requirements
Installation in the Morsø modular system
The insert stove, Morsø 5660M, is intended for installation in the Morsø insert modular
system.
The modular system comprises 3 module types:
• Module for Morsø 5660M insert
• Module for mounting under the insert
• Side modules
Adjacent materials must be non-flammable.
When put up on brickwork, a single layer of wallpaper will, in general, be considered to be
non-flammable material. A non-flammable cover plate should cover a floor area of minimum
300 mm in front of the furnace door and 150 mm to each side in front of the stoke hole.
Please note that the floor must be of sufficient load capacity for the installation. If Morsø
5660M is intended for wall-hanging, it should likewise be verified whether the wall can take
the load of the installation.
Requirements as to distance will only be relevant in case the stove is to be installed adjacent
to flammable material.
The distance requirements are as follows:
