Installation of Morsø 5660M
4 different cabinets/modules are available for the modular system.
-1 module for combustion chamber with rear vent
-1 module for combustion chamber with top vent
-1 module for installation under the stove
-1 module for installation at the side of the stove
-1 base
-1 flue duct for rear vent
-1 flue duct for top vent
Positioning / mounting of Morsø 5660M
To avoid damages, 2 persons are recommended for the installation.
Where cabinets are to be wall-hanged, the supplied wall brackets are used. Please make
certain that the wall, as well as the bolts applied, can carry stove and modules. A module,
complete with stove, weighs 195 kg, whereas an empty module weighs 57 kg.
If only the stove module is mounted, you must allow for a minimum distance of 300 mm
between the module’s subsurface and the floor, if the flooring is of a flammable material.
If the stove is to be installed with a module under the stove, the two supplied bolts and the
four adjusting screws will be fitted to the base which is then placed on the floor – in the
area that is intended as the final position of the stove.
The base is levelled up, using the adjusting
screws. The module, with its holes placed at
the back of the module surface, is then placed
on the base in such a way that the two holes
at the bottom of the module will fit the bolts
on the base (see sketches A and B). The base
and the module are screwed together, using
the supplied washers and nuts (see sketch C).
