commissioning
Important note:
The bottom of the appliance is equipped with an automatic switch-off device to
protect against dry cooking. In the event of overheating or drying out, the unit switches itself off
automatically. Before using the unit again, press the reset button after the unit has cooled down.
t may happen that this also triggers during transport, then also press the reset button.
Odours may develop during initial commissioning. It's harmless, perfectly normal, and only lasts for a
short time. Sufficient ventilation is recommended.
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash it with hot water and clean it (boiler, lid
and housing) with simple cleaning agents
Place the boiler on a flat and smooth surface.
For use, remove the lid and fill the kettle.
Never fill above the highest mark. Replace the cover and then plug the plug into the
socket.
The heating indicator lamp lights up and the appliance starts the heating process.
After about 35 minutes (depending on the amount of water filled) the water will havereached
C and the automatic thermostat will turn off the large heating element andturn on the small h
eating element to keep the water at the desired temperature.
With a residual water level of about three cups, you should either switch off the appliance
(disconnect it from the mains) or fill it up with water. (
Attention when filling, the still
contained water is hot!).

: The device may only be used in an environment with a maximum humidity of 90%..
